The home screen shows three things: how far you are along the road to a pass, one big button, and a quick breakout.
“Do this next” picks the question that would move you closest to a pass, at the right level.

Read a fresh text and answer it
The text is written new for you, never one you've seen. Start with a single sentence. As you get stronger, the texts get longer and harder, quietly, with no level screen.
Answer by typing or by talking. Sentence starters, a word bank and one hint are there if you need them. Your draft saves itself.

Get feedback that starts with the good bit
Every piece of feedback opens with something you did well, quoting your own words. Then you get exactly three steps, each starting with an action word.
You also see an example of what the next step up could look like, built from your own answer. Never a model answer that's miles away.

Try again and watch it move
Your last answer is waiting in the box. Change it, send it, and see your old mark and your new one side by side.
Effort counts too. Finishing and retrying are praised, not just the mark.

What we won't do
No fail language. No leaderboards. No guilt.
